Who Runs This

I started collecting slang in 2024 because I kept seeing words in comments I didn’t understand, and existing dictionaries were either outdated or written by people who don’t actually use the app. This site is my attempt to document terms while they’re still relevant — usually a week or two before they peak and a month before they die.
What I Actually Do
- Scroll TikTok (obviously)
- Read comment sections and stitch responses
- Track which terms show up across multiple creators
- Update entries when meanings shift
Why This Exists
Most “Gen Z slang” articles are written by people who don’t use the app. I write from inside the app. That’s the difference.
